2024 Scent Work Trial

2. Event will be conducted under any COVID-19 conditions active at the time.

General

Venue:

Gippsland Obedience Dog Club (Toner's Lane, Morwell) and surrounding areas.

Check In and Briefing:

• Check In = 7:45am-8:15am
  Briefing   = 8:30am
  Judging  commencement = 9:00am
  Excellent elements judging to commence half an hour after completion of Advanced

The Club reserves the right to add elements and alter the judges as may be necessary.

Entry Fees: $17 per element.
Please note that there will be no refunds for scratching after the close of entries.

Online Entries (preferred): K9 Entries.

Entries will be limited to 80 dogs per judge.
If a ballot is necessary, it will be conducted at GODC Inc, on Saturday, 30 March. Results will be available online at Vic Scent Facebook.

Please note that there are no additions or alterations once catalogue is complete. No refunds for dogs that do not attend or are scratched after close of entries. Catalogues will be available at Vic Dogs Trials Scent Work Information, or Vic Scent Facebook, a few days before the trial.

Special Requirements: If you have general difficulty walking, or have a very reactive dog, please email me prior to the event so that the club can try to accomodate therefore.

Other

Catering: Some catering will be available.

Judging of afternoon elements may be altered so as to enable judges to have lunch.

Presentations: To be held at completion of trial, or earlier if time permits.

Note: It is not appropriate to train at the location two weeks prior to the trial date.
